Description
Our Heritage Chinese Class is designed to help students build fluency in spoken Chinese, recognize high-frequency Chinese characters, and develop strong reading and writing skills. Using a “learning through context” approach, we integrate captivating books and interactive activities tailored to students’ grade levels and individual needs.
Throughout this class, students will work on mastering characters stokes, characters radicals and structure, 50 high-frequency Chinese characters and 50 essential sentences, reinforcing their foundation for effective communication. They will review grade-level Chinese characters and enhance their understanding through engaging stories and role-playing exercises.
To make learning fun and culturally enriching, students will explore Chinese characters through storytelling, participate in Lunar New Year celebrations, and enjoy hands-on activities that connect language learning with meaningful cultural experiences.
