Description
In the spring session, we will take advantage of the season by exploring nature, observing signs of spring, and making connections to plants, fruits, and vegetables. Through interactive games, students will build sentences with new verbs, learn about the nature cycle and ecosystem, and work on a special project to celebrate their learning.
This class helps students build fluency in spoken Chinese, recognize high-frequency Chinese characters, and develop strong reading and writing skills. Using a “learning through context” approach, we integrate captivating books and engaging activities tailored to students’ grade levels and individual needs.
Throughout the program, students will work on mastering 50 high-frequency Chinese characters and 25 essential sentences, reinforcing their foundation for effective communication. They will also begin writing for their projects, learning Chinese character handwriting while enhancing their comprehension, communication, and sound acquisition skills.
