Description

Our Prek-K Heritage Chinese Class is designed to help students build fluency in spoken Chinese, expand vocabulary and phrases, recognize Chinese characters, build foundation of strokes and radicals, and develop strong reading and writing skills. Using a “learning through context” approach, we integrate captivating books and interactive activities tailored to students’ grade levels and individual needs.

Throughout the year, students will work on mastering 100 high-frequency Chinese characters and 30 essential sentences, reinforcing their foundation for level reading. They will review grade-level characters, deepen understanding through engaging stories and role-play, and begin applying writing skills in meaningful projects.

This program offers a well-rounded and immersive learning experience that develops both language skills and cultural understanding throughout the school year.
