Description
Our Heritage Chinese Class is designed to help students build fluency in spoken Chinese, recognize high-frequency Chinese characters, and develop strong speaking and reading skills. Using a “learning through context” approach, we integrate captivating books and interactive activities and games tailored to students’ grade levels and individual needs.
In the fall session, students will focus on mastering immersion Chinese vocabulary, characters radicals, and structure through 小手写中文, along with high-frequency Chinese characters and essential sentences to strengthen their communication skills. They will review grade-level Chinese characters and deepen their understanding through engaging stories and role-playing exercises.
To make learning fun and culturally enriching, students will explore Chinese characters through storytelling and take part in hands-on activities that connect language learning with meaningful seasonal and cultural experiences.
