Description
This spring, employing a ‘learning through context’ approach, we will utilize captivating storybooks and interactive activities to continue building fundamental Chinese concepts like greetings, family, colors, numbers, body parts, while adding zodiac animals and related topics.
We aim to improve comprehension and interaction skills, from input to output, through interactive games such as voice acting and role-playing scenarios. Also, we will celebrate Lunar New Year through cultural story books and hands on activities to learn more about the culture behind this language.
Additionally, we will start to improve students’ Chinese reading by recognizing 30 more commonly used Chinese characters and help them apply it in the story we learned.
