Description
The heritage speakers group lesson utilizes a project-based learning approach where the learners explore all kinds of subjects and themes together, such as food and dining, geography, science, arts & crafts, history and more in an immersive Chinese environment. Occasionally, we will also organize field trips to Chinese restaurants, tea houses, grocery stores, museums, etc, to fully immerse ourselves in an authentic Chinese environment.
We utilize captivating story materials and interactive activities to enhance students’ advanced communication skills, Chinese reading and writing skills, customized to meet their individual needs.
Students will learn 150+ high frequency vocabulary. 150+ sentences expressions and related Chinese characters.
Lesson dates (13 sessions): 9/8, 9/15, 9/22, 9/29 ;10/6, 10/13 (No Class), 10/20, 10/27; 11/3, 11/10, 11/17, 11/24; 12/1 (Optional Make-Up), 12/8, 12/15
