Description
Our Heritage Chinese Class is designed to help students build fluency in spoken Chinese, recognize high-frequency Chinese characters, and develop strong reading and writing skills. Using a “learning through context” approach, we integrate captivating books and interactive activities tailored to students’ grade levels and individual needs.
Throughout the program, students will work on mastering 50-100 high-frequency Chinese characters and 50 essential sentences, reinforcing their foundation for effective communication. They will review grade-level Chinese characters, enhance their understanding through engaging stories and role-playing exercises, and begin writing for their projects.
The classes focus on Chinese literacy, leveled reading, character recognition, and handwriting, ensuring a well-rounded and immersive learning experience.
