Description
This class is for children ages 3-5 to play their way to Chinese fluency! We use interactive circle time to enjoy Chinese stories, music, movements, plays, stuffed animals, games, toys, and more. In each lesson, we will explore a theme such as art, food, animals, cities, or science to allow children to develop skills while focusing on communication and play using the Chinese language.
Based on the great foundation of Chinese numbers, family and colors in the Fall, we are going to start the projects with celebrations of Chinese Lunar New Year and the Lantern Festival to explore the food, drinks, Chinese table culture and 12 zodiac animals.
Lesson dates (10 sessions):1/5, 1/12, 1/19 (No Class), 1/26; 2/2, 2/9, 2/16 (No Class), 2/23; 3/2, 3/9, 3/16, 3/23.
